The instantaneous readout on my vx oscillates between 1.5-1.6 at idle at running temperature? are we talking about the same thing?

Dunno what im getting but $50 lasts me a week driving work/back and other places

$50 gets me like 300km or something i swear this is the most fuel efficient vehicle ive ever been in, my gf asks me how much fuel ive got left and cant believe when i got so much it uses less fuel that v6's

thats with exhaust, CAI, no tune im sure, my car uses less fuel than my gfs VS which leads me to believe the 185 uses less fuel somehow and i drive mine alot harder

Cobez figures sound average for town driving only, combining the averge for town & highway driving should be down to 12-13 litres.

I reset the trip metre last week with the trip reading 12.9 (city/highway) as i have only been doing short trips lately in 60-70 km/h zones im now sitting on 15.2 which i think is healthy for the hilly area im in at the moment.

Something doesn't add up.. those V6s need a good service.

Yup, that's stopping and starting a fair bit too, as the way i go to work consists of a lot of lights, slow drivers and a little bit of traffic. That's for around heavy suburbia driving. Highway i have had it down to the high 11 - low 12 litres to the 100kms.

Sound wise, i may as well put a V6 under my bonnet, power wise, ok LSx's are sweet as.

But i like the rumble and roar of a 304 with an exhaust :yeah:

go for a drive on a highway using cruise control and reset the metre, you get some crazy low numbers when sitting on 100-110km/h on flat stretch first reading i got was 8.8 or something like that and in the city frst reading that comes up after a reset is about 18 litres lol.
