How much is a VL REALLY worth?

I paid 4k for a VL last year with a T3/4 Turbo, fmic, cpu etc and a **** tonne spent on the engine. It did have a shagged box out of a Supra though. It was too hard to polish a turd so I went back to the V8's and other turbo's.

Redbook get's a percentage of it's calculation from the figures provided by RTA records etc.
The old trick of having the seller write you a reciept for less than what you paid so you pay less transfer fee also means that more statistical information is showing the vehicles on paper have sold for less and less so Redbook's information is no longer true or accurate.

VL's like any VK VH etc in good nick, avg kay's and rego should be by rights around $2000-$2500 IMO
Factory turbo in above condition should be up to $1000 more.
V8's In VL should be in similar pricing to an expensive VLT due to less factory V8 Vl's being bought new.

Unless it is super low klm and mint condition, or it is a brock or similar collectors etc then as above, they are worth about $250 A TONNE at the scrap yard.
