Currently running a worked 253. solid cam. pistons. heads. rockers ect with trimatic shift kitted box with 3000 stall. In the rear end I have a shortend VL diff with 3.9 gears with 265/50-15 tryes. At 80 im currently sitting at 3000rpm.is this normal? Just wondering if I was to get 3.45 diff gears if it would make much of a difference as I want to be able to cruise at 100? and would I have to bring the stall down to 2500?
