Apparently they've peaked at a de-tuned 317kw to avoid making changes to the diff and transmission? Once the engine is wound up it should hit 330kw.

torque still set at 550Nm due to drivetrain constraints. They need to get some corvette hardware in there!

Is the hardware constraints for real though?

Im sure there are VE HSV's out there that have been modified making way more power than that.

What about the Walkinshaw packs etc.?

don't know about the walky packs but I'd reckon for warranty issues they keep the torque figure the same, then again I could be wrong. Anyone know someone at HSV that can confirm why the torque figure is the same?

I reckon the GTS should get the the 6.2 transplant only and leave the clubby's as a 6.

Anyone that ad's Exhaust to there E-Series HSV would top 550Nm easy?.

Maybe the Engine only has same torque but a flatter torque curve?. Some say the Ls2 was a little low down low.

possibly, they need to start adding more solid drive trains so they can up the power.

Stronger box and diff... heaver clutch on manuals and possibly factory shift kits for autos.

They have the W427 driveline if they need it (though it may be a little expensive).

If you can afford an LS2 or 3 car I dont think moneys a problem!
