Yes its a proper HSV E2 Steel bonnet. I wouldnt be using the fibreglass ones!

You can get E2-look bonnets done for the standard SS bar - they modify genuine holden steel bonnets so they bolt right up. Not cheap though.

I know of a shop in Sydney that sells them. Sydney Special Vehicles: For Car Body Kits, HSV Parts, Mag Wheels, Tail Lights, Bonnet Scoops and More

It's pictured with the HSV E1 garnish, but that's an option. Comes stock clean so will bolt straight up onto an SS/SV6. It uses all the original mounting points so just bolts straight up in place of the stocky.

It also says that they'll modify your bonnet at a reduced price - but presumably you'd need to drive up for that one.

Considering you can get a new bonnet from Holden for $800 thats overpriced as. Might see if any locals wanna mod mine haha. I'd ask them but thats too far for me

yeah it's definitely not cheap. There are other places around with the same jig - seen them for sale at a few shops (can't think of them off the top of my head). Bound to be some in Vic. Ring around a few places and see what you can turn up.

I like it!!!
Didnt like the E2 at the start thought it was being a little euro try hard but from 2011 all new cars will have the DDLights so every car will look euro trash and i wanna be apart of it haha

Is it straight forward just bar and bonnet did u need to modify anything ??

That red thing looks hideous... And to think the E2 HSV looks Euro is hilarious. It looks like some sort of modified ricer! HSV have only been going further and further downhill since the E2. The E-Series was brilliant, then anyone at HSV that had any taste must have left!

And what is a DDLight? I mean, I know what DRLs are but a DDLight? WTF?
