HSV Oil Pressure Gauge

Hi all, I am having an issue with my oil pressure gauge ever since I got my Senator and I was wondering if anyone has some insight. It constantly reads max oil pressure and after measuring at the resistance between positive and earth at the gauge i am getting 130ish ohms. Is this normal? I haven't got a new sensor yet now have I been under the car. But I did notice that when I turn the reds on the connection between positive and earth at the gauge goes open circuit on my multimeter. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

VY oil pressure gauge, if u power up the gauge and put the sender wire directly to earth it should read zero pressure, if it dosnt and reads full scale then issue in the gauge, if it does then but not when hooked to the sender then issue with sender open circuit or brake in wire
