Has anyone successfully removed totally the rear brake dust back plates to suit the new rear Brembos and 355mm Rotors instead of trimming down the existing back plates?

i know this is a long shot considering how old the posts are.... but either of you guys on here end up not getting rid of the hsv backing plates?? Im about to fit HSV brakes and the be perfect for me.... cheers

Yeah... I don't really wanna be hacking at the backing plates and things and would rather have OEM setup.

How much? Where abouts are you, not Sydney by any chance? (I'm on my mobile and it doesn't show locations)
