You'll love it again after the diff gears. BUT 4.11s or bust. Best upgrade ever. In 6th gear it revs at 1800-1900. I still get between 8-9L/100 as well. (VY Calais cammed LS1. T56 6 speed)

Seriously though. 4.11s.

i feel 4.11's will be way to short, mine sits at 1,600rpm at 100k's. My tuner says 2,500rpm with 3.9's. I'll talk to jesterats as he has 4.11's in his z clubby but definately looking forward to doing this!

2,500rpm with 3.9's sounds a bit odd. Some of my mates have 3.9's with their 4 speed autos and get slightly under that. Around 2,300rpm. Another mate has 4.11's with his auto and he gets 2,500rpm.
I can even supply exact rpm numbers as we've tested and used gear calculators on another forum. But the rpm numbers would be for the 4 speed auto.

VZ Clubsport run a t56-m12 which has shorter gears than the standard t56 used in non-HSV VZ's and earlier. Thus the higher rpm with 3.9's.

Basically, a t56-m12 with 3.73's will be reving about the same as a normal t56 with 3.91.

So a VZ Clubby manual with 4.11's will reved a fair bit higher than your car with 4.11's.

For a toy, go 4.11's mate... for a daily drive, 3.9's will be plenty.

Though I have to say, not seeing how your tuner worked it will run at 2500rpm with 3.91's. I'm pretty sure I run at around 2000rpm with my 4.11's in 6th at 100kmph.

Glad to hear you're keeping it btw. ;)

Well there you go. But still 2000rpm is so much better than 2500rpm.

Just replaced oil, oil filter, clutch fluid, power steering fluid, coolant and spark plugs - $20 a pop and need 8 of them! Cleaned and re-oiled air fliter. Running Castrol Edge 10w-60, clubby absolutely loves it! Just sounds like it runs so much smoother on it.

Also fixed up my sub box as it was a little loose and fixed up the wiring to one of the screens as when you'd go over a bump it would cut out now and then.

Put 10mm spacers in the rear and it now sits perfect, not leaning to the back and shows about 15mm of tyre. Very happy with this height. Will put up some pics tomorrow after i clean her! :)
