Ahhh dear... well, there's a little progress so far.

I cut up a large adjustable wrench with my angle grinder, and used it as an open pry lever. That, plus the force of my second largest sledge hammer has pulled the sleeve out 1".

I'm now going to try and drill through the exposed sleeve and throw a screwdriver through it. Maybe see if I can twist it a few times and loosen up the gunk behind it.

Here's hoping :)

Well that didn't work. The bit that was poking out just snapped :p haha

Back to square one, only the big sturdy things I was using as washers for leverage are now all broken :p
