Both cars started perfectly fine after sitting for almost 7 weeks...

That's unusual my VF2 merely lasts more than a week sitting stationery with the battery connected.

I was suprises too.
Mazda 3 also started fine.
Both with factory batteries...

We got home from 5 weeks away this time last year, no probs with our VF mit battery connected.

It was a great holiday. Jet lagged badly so I will just take it easy !

If anyone is planning summer euro holiday Brač - Croatia and Kefalonia - Greece are phenomenal islands to check out !

+1 for Kefalonia, I went off season and it was still nice. Hard to go wrong with the Greek islands to be fair.

Corsica is another great island in the Med
