What we don't know is what will happen if this virus goes unchecked. It has shown it can mutate. There are 6 strains now that have developed in 10 months. The economy will recover.

Don't blame the govt for the actions of stupid people. It wasn't just the hotel security that failed. Certain sectors of the community have bluntly said that it is against their culture not to touch so they won't stop touching, hugging and kissing. These communities have a very high infection rate.

Stupid people do stupid things that put people at risk, the two girls from QLD that traveled from Melbourne. The girl from Sydney that filmed herself at road blocks. Lizzy in Bunnings. It's not hard to follow a few rules for the safety of the wider community. People like that are what is causing this "second wave".

I 100% blame the incompetent, corrupt Andrews government. Our second wave came directly from the botched hotel quarantine drama and the allowed BLM protest.

Do some research into the hotel quarantine shitstorm. It’s actually hard to try and comprehend how they could go so wrong.

Like those 800 people missing when police did checks last week? Clearly your fellow aussies can be trusted to stay at home when they know they are sick and likewise those security guards ******* people in quarantine facilities......

The issue with covid is that people can be completely asymptomatic and still spread the virus unlike the flu.

No flu this year mate, it’s packed up and left town.

That might be because more people are taking precautions and not spreading the more common flu. Most employers put profit before health. Most people with the flu end up at work needlessly spreading the flu which spreads freely through the community. With just a little more care flu deaths could be greatly reduced each year, just as long as employers let workers can take the proper precautions.
