edit: just checked online, I should be able to get all the bits for under $100
I got it for about $65.00, in feb. 2013, if l remember correctly.

but first I'll check I have the plugs in the bay and under the steering column to plug
Not sure of the plugs you are referring to here?

Everything had to be taken out of the donor cars' pcm & bcm.

Can't remember if the plug for the cruise c under the steering column is already there, or if the wiring from the pcm or bcm when that is wired in, then you have the plug?

Had a look this afternoon, doesn't look like the plug/loom for the cruise control unit is in the engine bay. This might be a bit more difficult than originally thought.

Its not hard.
Go wreckers, Find a vt with cruise, pull it all out & install in your vt.
Thats what l did.

Can confirm, non of the wiring is present for cruise control.

So it's on the list of "nice to haves" but not urgent. More important things to do first.

But no progress until this storm blows through, it's started to spit and we should have a full blown storm by this evening.
