Took the wife in the ute this eve and she reckons it's definitely more comfortable with the new Lovells. :):)
You 'take' her in the front or back? :D
(I mean on a bench seat or in the tray). o_O
That's one method of settling the new coils that I hadn't considered.

So that's what they mean by bedding in new springs.

I think you'll find the Maloos came with Bridgestones
By the way as you have said buddy a few times, get this I only say it once for your hearing as it seems you dont read things properly, I AINT YOUR BUDDY.
Hey don't think to much as you said @ I think you'll find the Maloos came with Bridgestones.
We were discussing early maloo utes which HSV brought out with 225 55 16" goodyear tyres and changed to the bridgestone on the later models after the millenium.

Would shocks that suit FE2 be long enough for stock height springs.
simple answer no, you will manage to fit them thinking nothing is wrong but they wont work.

I've driven all round S.A, through Western NSW, upto Bundaberg QLD on Kumho KU22.. Some of the roads South West of Bundaberg are goat tracks....That's inbetween Gayndah and Childers/Apple Tree Creek....I regularly trek upto the riverland where the rellies live....They live out on the backroads, where the roads are shite...

I ran up to the Riverland 2 years ago at Xmas time on KU22, in 40+ degree heat....

This is the 2nd set of KU22's I'm on and still haven't had problems with them.

So is that enough testing for you, Mr Expert?
clap clap clap to your great touring effort, now I won't have to ask the leyland brothers then, now try all that in a ute and then compare your pears and apples. I think that will take you many years to catch up to our ute driving experience.

I feel we've got another arogant trouble maker on board.

It does indeed. If those members who have nothing more to contribute except argue about tyres please start you own thread or better yet use PM and stop hijacking this thread.

That's what I thought too but wasn't sure.
