Holden just rang me regarding this issue.
Solution is to change the front of the radio with a new one. The back unit is the same. The cost is $1000. But holden has agreed to pay for half.

If some clever dude could figure out how to transplant a new Double Din headunit in the series 2 without downgrading to Series 1 , he would be on a winner. Holden will not fix it, even if they do how much to flash the new firmware? and Apple don't care.

Does that mean the series 1 is not effected by this issue?
That would be sweet for me
Sorry this threads too long to read the whole thing...

WTF. Apple make a change to their software so the solution is to change Holden's hardware at a cost of $1000. What happens when Apple change it back again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time for an Android phone!!!!!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with Apple support 45 mins. They checked all settings and run a diagnostic on iPhone 5s. No issue and settings all ok.
They have advised that Holden hasn't updated their software for that model VE and it's Holden issue not Apple.

Anyone having issue with android on the VE.

I have 2012 VE Series 2 SV6 Z series sportswagon built dec 2012
