Kiwi Wifi

Is this the correct OBDII plug that you guys have used? And im guessing that on my iPad i just go into WIFI and this will popup then i connect to it and go into dash command and away she goes?
Sorry im just trying to get the understanding of this

Yep pretty much, how ever you can also just buy a cheap knock off one from ebay, they also work fine.

Cheers Bigboss. I was looking at your mods and seen how you put your headunit in your glovebox. Was this very hard to do? And isnt there some sort of security thing in the factory headunit that disables the car from starting?

Nar Mate not hard to do took me a couple of hours, the stereo is not an integral part of the security system I have had mine out for about a year now.

Hey Bossy,

Are there any differences that you know of, between the Kiwi Wifi and the Kiwi Bluetooth? Bearing in mind I have a Galaxy Nexus phone not iOS.

I think WiFi would probably give you better range but i think bluetooth may pair quicker. But if i were you i would get the WiFi model so you have wider compatibility, coz bluetooth will not work with iOS.

I don't own any iOS devices, and probably never will. My tablet is a Nexus 7. All devices in my house are Android really...
So would bluetooth be better on that basis?

I do, I have a bluetooth headset. I didn't think about that lol.

So wifi :p
