is my gearbox stuffed.

Hi guys i own a auto s pack vs v6, I just bought a vt gearbox from series 3 vt install was fine worked for weeks perfect, I was driving kids to school in 40 zone i applies small amount of accelaration an i hear a clink from underneath car , then the entire gearbox stopped working . nothing no 1st 2nd reve nothing its starting fine no problems anywhere else except for the box. What could this be im stuffed i checked power cables to the box fine the shift bar fine , i checked everywhere i dunno but i feel like burning the car so any help would be graet thanks guys.

Also when i put it in different gears it doesnt acknowledge the gear change i have had stuffed gearboxs b4 an they always changed even if they didnt work properly

yeah absolutley, im pretty clue with these things an im baffled, i did notice a bit of stiffness changing into 3rd it felt a bit stally but it quick went away other then that ?????

sounds like pump is gone, no oil pressure = nothing.

you sure its the trans and not the tail shaft/ diff ?

sure you didnt run over a small kid and its wrapped around the driveshaft..

where can i locate this oil pump, is that how it looks in your eyes cause im pretty sure i said i new wat i was doing, Regardless what usally makes oil pump go bad i had recently had gearbox service new filter an all that i have had this before when we took the box of the filter was in the pan not in position an it went similar way so could this be my luck again.
