True but also pretty darn easy on a ve just to pull it right out, mine burst where the top hose goes on as they all do and I had the whole thing out in about 15 mins
If it’s an auto,
And if you pull the radiator out, you will need to disturb/disconnect the Auto Cooling pipes,
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,
as mentioned earlier, remove the fans and,
You will need to Remove the top hose again, To be able to lift the fans out, and you should have heaps of room, as I have done it twice, because it is a bit of tight space to work, to get the bottom hose clamp off and back on.
Keeping in mind, to make sure you don’t twist the old one to far and damage the radiator elbow it goes on.
Hint: Use a Stanley Knife to slice the old hose, "not to deep" that will score the elbow.
When installing the the new one,
place a bit of gasket cement inside the hose before you slide it on,
as it will seal it a bit better, because don’t what to do this job twice !
