What makes you think they will say no to a filter.

from what ive seen its only the Greens that oppose it.

So your saying that if the Libs get into power, they would still put it in? I have not seen any statement to that effect, if they do, screw them all

Thats it, screw it, I'm voting for the 'Fishing and Lifestyle Party' that I saw on my last ballot.

I thought that and found out they gave their preferences to "Family First":

Leader of the Family First party, Senator Steve Fielding, is one of several key independents the Government needs to pass policies in the Senate. His party is also a supporter of mandatory Internet content filtering. .

Filter will only block HTTP traffic on port 80 I believe. Games don't use that port. Shouldn't result in any lag really. Nor will it affect the download speeds of anyone downloading child porn over any other port, which is what already happens. Stupid ****ing government

VN V6, nothing special
lolololol itss funny how people with no knoledge of how the internet works, want to restrict it :S....

If they are so worried about children, then keep it as it is but offer to restrict sites to people who want it :p
Because honestly, how are they going to arrest all the pedo's when they cant download the content?

Stocky makes a good point, sucks to be us by the looks of it :(

Also, i wonder if going to google and typing proxy browser will work :p dont see why it wouldnt (and technically they cant block that because its not illegal :))
