South Australia's worst kept secret is finally revealed.

SAPOL have released 40 new AWD ZB Commodores onto Adelaide Roads for in the field evaluation alongside a few KIA Sorento's.

The KIA's have already revealed that they need upgraded brakes while ZB's are superb.

In the initial release SAPOL have introduced a whole new livery, much like the New Zealand Patrol cars with yellow included in the "NEW" Black & White colour scheme which replaces the old Blue & White.

Highway cars will have an overall black colour with massive vinyl wrap decals as shown in the above photo to make them much more dominant on the roads.

They got a special deal, the fully loaded model (same as in showroom) for less than $40K

The plan is to use them and then sell them off without dropping too much $$

Same plan as the Qgov had with the Brisbane Comm Games, buy cheap and sell off at close to retail prices.

Saw the first ZB as a pulled pork vehicle doing what they do best, using their flashing lights and pulling someone over hunting for easy cash, yes it was one of the new look segregated "Silver Traffic vehicles" as the white ones are "General Patrols" and the Black ones are "Highway" designated.
