i have jahovas in my family as relatives but they alright when it comes to talking about, they don't push it onto us and we respect them by not talking about things they don't believe in when they're over.

just ask to be put on the black list, if they say no do something to be put on it.

they wont come back.

my mate from across the road put on a porno and turned up the sound, when they asked if his folks where free, he just replayed "can't you hear them?"

also when a guy came to sell electricity, he just kept turning the front light on and off, and said "na, we have power"

one of my good mates a Jehovah's witnesses, so they don't come to my place. just like ashbox's said.
i remember being at his place, he was looking for something in their "storage room" when i saw one of their study books, decided to flick thought it, almost every page about sex was a black guy hitting on a nice white girl, and every "rich" guy was an old, fat, bold 40 year old washing his convertible year old. me and him where just cracking up.

ive got two JW that come annoy me all the time. felt it was rude when they opened my gate, left it open (when my dogs were out) then walk to my front door to hand me these stupid books about stories which apperently id 'enjoy' reading..

my uncle had them polishing his impala one day they were there for AGES, another time at a mates place they showed up were kinda drunk apparently they dont drink? we offered them beer the decline we offer them jimmys they decline, offered to share a gram with them they decline THEYRE NO FUN

Nothing says that they cant drink, my nanna drinks. Not alot but still enjoys a beer.

Just politely tell them that you are not interested and set them on their way.. no need to be an arse about it.

Here here. Dads side of the family are JW and if you tell them your not interested they should leave If not go see a guy in charge at the hall as it is frowned apon when they push people.

I agree here too! Im not into it so i just say no thanks but because out of respect for family i offer a drink or a snack then they move on. They are just trying to do a little good is all and if you dont want that just say no. I dont see people taking their cloths off in shopping centers when people bug you for donations and austar etc LMAO a simple no and its all done.

having dated an ex-JW, i can tell you they do still associate with current members, JW's do drink, just not the the drunken extremes, and the best way to get rid of them is to ask to be placed on the "do not call" register.

It would be funny next time to... ask them politely if you could have their address so you could go around and ask them if they would like to change their religion, when they reply 'no', say.. "well neither do i, thanks, goodbye". then shut the door.
