L67 swap and won’t start

So I just recently swapped a vx l67 with some work done to it into my vy Ute. I’m running a vy loom into a vx ecu. When I go to start it it tries to start coughs and splutters but then dies out. I tried with a little throttle and wanted to go but once again coughing spluttering but blowing black smoke. Smells like it’s dumping too much fuel. Has brand new plugs new oil, new gaskets, new filters, it’s on a base l67 tune with vats delete. Anyone got any suggestions?
