if its a clear tube then its cheap and may get fragile over time, either a copper line or vdo do a quality pvc line but that would depend on the fittings needed on your gauge side to know if that would suit

I had oil guage with braided lines & fittings...still didn't like it so as said only used it for testing or new engine startups & checking how accurate factory oil guages were.

Dont leave those silly plastic lines in them...fark that crap off.

Don’t leave the plastic line in, either swap out to electric or std light. It will fail, they get hard and brittle & will break.
