Silao didn't close, they just stopped building LS3 engines. All MY17 V8's were built in 2016 (afair)

Nope not true... My late MY2017 has a April or July 2017 engine - you know the ones with the crappy rocker arms! Holden was still importing them into 2017. The V6's were stockpiled as the V6 Engine plant in Port Melbourne closed in October 2016.
