The main engine bay wiring loom/harness that the primary sensor wiring plugs into has anyone purchased OEM products and found them to be of good quality.

Are you buying a whole loom as New Old Stock?

just the front engine bay main loom. So this would be where the O2, IAT, IAC, Crank angle sensors etc plug into directly or through sub wiring. So better explain sub wiring. For example, ox2 sensor does not plug direcly into loom. it has a connector that in turn connects to the loom.

examples of primary sensors are, O2, IAT, IAC, Crank angle sensors etc. Non primary sensors are, for example, internal overhead cabin light sensor.

Well, more or less no other option than OEM.

Otherwise you can make one if your skills are up to it. If you do, a higher standard can be achieved with nylon braided sheathing, dual core heat shrink, heat shrink labels. Sourcing the plugs can take time though and you’ll need the correct wiring colours and wire type. You also need correct crimping tool for each plug type.
EFI Solutions have lots of plugs available to make your own.

As for the rest…

The main engine harness is part of the interior harness and is not easily removed from the car without damage. It goes through the firewall before the firewall is installed and has a patch on its side to close up the firewall. It is an art form for those who have done it.
