it's real bastard being able to arrest the caliper without it hanging on the brake hose.

i use stainless steel TIG rod bent in an S. but coat hanger wire does the same job.

I must admit this is a hell of a lot of masking up

I also have done a guide on this and how to clean them rusty wheel hubs.

There is no need to mask that much lol ... being thorough is a good thing though.

possibly and yes.

yeah ive done 4 calipers with one can. just use it sparingly. you dont need 6 coats for a good finish.
