Still 144rwk is good, rekon having the 3inch exhaust is letting it down..
my VS V8 is running CAI and a 2.5 extractors and 2.5 whole way through and puts out 147.2RWK and its non HSV..

CHECK MY PICS....

3 inch exhaust is fine for a 5 litre. if anything, a 2.5 is pushing it as too small. ill never believe anything that comes from a SA dyno. they all seem to have much higher power figures than dynos in other states

just saying it coz my mates 185 SS put out 134RWK and thats running a 3inch exhaust.. at da same dyno..... ive always herd that a 3inch is pushing it, looks like theres stats to prove it to...

no there are no stats. 2.5 inch is a good size for a v6, and about the minimum size you would want to run on a 5 litre. i know another stock 5 litre that is lacking power due to it running a 2.5 inch exhaust

Like he said, 2.5 is the bare minimum, and i'd only run that if you have a bog stock car with no plans for mods.

My twin 2.5 is overkill for the mods i have, but i bought it for the sound, not the power.

Ive heard a 3" will only give you backpressure and not really any powerloss?
and yeah the 185 engine sounds mean but gives too much attention, i used to rev the crap out of my vn due to the fact I could and no one really cared, I rev this to 3000 sharp and people swing their head and look instantly.
