Yea there's just **** goin everywhere bahahah
there doesnt have to be. with a tonne of cable ties, new hose clamps and new hoses you can actually make the engine bay really neat. also, hidden wiring takes a lot of time to get right and there will be a lot of wasted wire, but itll really be worth it. plus you can improve factory stuff while you are at it. i.e. ditch the shitty headlight relay and fit a couple of new bosch ones, new horn relay, run seperate earths to everything of a shared earthing point which is also bolted to various different points in the car (front to back)
i ran an earth strap from my (impala) tailights, down the passenger side to the dash assembly then through the firewall to the headlights and relays then to the battery then two MASSIVE cables to my amps which then rejoined the tailights. along the way i fitted eyelets and screwed the earth to different bits on the car. everything is getting awesome power now. bad earths is one of the biggest problems on cars like the VK.
anyway, soz bout the rant. IMO while the engine is out you should have a stab at it
you will be amazed how many gremlins it gets rid of when its done.
