Very tidy looking rig man, love the console and custom dash. Those VY switches are an awesome idea.

Will have to keep an eye out for you when I'm back in Pirie

So, its been a while since I have updated. A while ago I gave it a full detail, clay bar, medium cut, swirl remover, polished it, then waxed it, came up mint. Also removed all the interior, seats and everything, hired a carpet shampooer and did the whole carpet and seats, and it came up better than new.

Was all good for a few weeks, then the transmission started leaking oil :/ It's a reconditioned trans, so it shouldn't be too bad, at least it isn't the front or rear seal, I have checked them. It ended up getting really low, and started slipping pretty badly. So did a filter and oil change, then degreased the whole car so I could see any new oil leaks that formed. It looked like it was coming from just above the drivers side extractor somewhere, couldn't pin point it though. Just the service on the trans made it heaps better to drive. It was good again for about a week, when a mate who was behind me pointed out that it was smoking :/ so i hadn't fixed the problem. Anyway tonight, we decided the only other thing it could be was the cooler lines that run to the radiator, so ripped them out, replaced them with trans oil cooler hose, and installed a trans oil cooler. So hopefully that fixes the problem, otherwise it's looking like the trans will have to come out, I hope it doesn't come to that lol.

Rocker covers mate, the silicone gasket gets thin and becomes famous for leaking.

If you want to cheap out, remove them, clean them and put silicone on both sides nice and thick then put it back on and this will stop the oil leaking.
First i'd try to tighten the bolts with a 3/8 socket and a quater drive ratchet though

Yeah your right mate, they were leaking for a while but I had them changed not long ago, so they are all good now. They were my first thoughts as well but it was definitely trans oil, not engine oil

Thought whilst I had the front bumper off i'd give it a fresh coat of paint, because it had seen better days lol

It still needs a rub back and polish to take all the orange peel out, but came out pretty good I think :)

Just had a spur of the moment thought. Instead of painting the interior like glovebox and door trims and all that to change it from the boring grey, I could vinyl wrap it. I've never done it before but it looks easy and cheap enough lol. Don't know if matt black or the carbon fibre look would be best, carbon fibre might be too much.. lol.

Any thoughts on the idea would be good :)

Sounds good, better than paint.

There are guys the specialise in ABS painting ( not the braking system lol ) I dont really hear of anyone doing it that way, but people should really.
