OK, I picked it up tonight,
I only just got home, we had some issues with the car, something broke in the rear end, and the car angrily shudders as soon as you hit boost...
It's running 10psi, and pulled up a respectable 259.6rwkw before the tuner pulled the pin due the the shuddering......
I drove it home, and didn't hit boost as I noticed the shuddering under light throttle......

It also had it's usual drama of shredding 4pk1195 belts, so Full credit to Rob, he stayed back and kept the workshop open and replaced my Belt and also replaced the idler pulley, and when I tried to pay him, he wouldn't take a cent... TOP BLOKE!!
I have to explore my rear end tomorrow, and find what's going on.....
It has a new Tailshaft with new Uni's and centre bearing & CV Joint.
My drivers side K Frame bush shows marks of moving, and is sitting 10mm lower than the Passenger side, so I will replace them with Nolathane ones... I will also replace the rear shocks as they look very tired, maybe a combination of axle tramp and Bush movement...

Anyway, Heres the dyno sheets from tonight, Can't wait to re-tune it next week after I find the problem :)

very nice mate! must be a weapon to drive now

Thanks Mate,

It drives really well, at light to mid throttle there is no Blower evident, and fuel consumption is very very low, but as soon as you get a little heavy on the foot, the screeming starts, and fun begins.

I'm still not satisfied with the power, It goes a lot better than it did, but feels like there is a lot more left in her...
It isn't fully Tuned yet, but I can't see a tune gaining any more than 5-10rwkw, so I am going to have to invest in an Air to Water intercooler I think.
To give you an idea, with 3.07 gears and auto, 1st gear is turn the tires at any rpm on demand, but 2nd is a completely different kettle of fish....
It does pull hard, but traction loss if any is minimal, not that I want the wheels to spin, but just giving you an indication of the power it produces....
It is 100% impossible to floor 1st gear without breaking the law, but if judged right you can leave a standing start rapidly, and when 2nd gear engages, it squirms for a good 30mtrs b4 settling in and getting you to 100k's on the freeway of course.

Hi Guys,

As for the Rear end, I have been under it this morning, I have so far replaced the Outer "K-Frame" Bush's, Old ones were OK, but the nolathane ones come with a bush for above & below the frame, as stock ones are just underneath.......

I feel it is a bad case of axle tramp....
I undid the bottom bolt of my Shock's and lets just say I could move them up and down with minimal resistance.....
Problem solved I'd say :)

Shift Kit?? No need, all a shift kit does is increases line pressure to decrease the amount of slippage in your clutch packs etc....
It can also change shift points etc.

This has been done through my Tune already, and every Auto trans place I spoke to said don't bother, unless i am willing to remove the trans and do it properly with new clutch's etc etc............

The Auto shifts nice and crisp, and if wanted, it will light up the tyres when shifting between gears, so no slippage :)

Nice work with the blower install.
Does your senator have those aweful pump up shocks?
I threw mine out as soon as I got my senator.
Now have some Koni yellow adjustables and they work beautifully, great smooth ride on the soft setting but handling sharpens up when set to firm.
Must say I don't have any axle tramp in my rear but maybe because of the toe adjusters in the later VX2-VZ rear suspensions but could be that mine isn't as worn or as old yours.
Hope you work it out.
