Hi all

I have a 2014 Holden vf sv6 and when you connect your phone to Bluetooth the experience isn’t that great, either sometimes disconnects or when skipping tracks it just stops, the only way to fix it is to touch your phone.

What can I do?

iPhone but does the same as a other person’s android phone too.

Frankly, MyLink is garbage.
Carbage?
My theory is that Holden wasn’t allowed to use the “good stuff” in GM’s catalogue, but was forced to use the old-tech cheap rubbish ’cos they weren’t at the same intended-marketing-tier as Cadillac.

You can’t do a lot about the MyLink system itself, apart from replace it or use the screen to connect to something else which has all the audio & SatNav stuff in it.

One thing though, it’s possible that being a 2014 that the prior owners didn’t get all the software upgrades. There were a few which helped connectivity a little, although if you can find a Holden dealer they’ll likely charge you a couple of hundred to do it (silly fiddly upgrade system - again with GM foisting cheap carp on Holden).

The upgrade to fix connectivity problems with iPhone also gave you the moveable reverse guide lines. Therefore you can check to see if you have that upgrade by checking the guide lines. I had it done 2015 or2016.
