[VIC] Need some clarification on frame damage

Ive got/had a 96 vs commodore but just so happen to go sideways around a corner and run her into a power pole

ive checked over the car and it looks dead set F***ed, just need to know if its somewhat fixable or scrap it for parts

the motor still runs 100%, should i keep the motor? ive got a few pictures but there crappy so ill upload some more later this week (reason for the rust is about 5 months of harsh weather)

Lets face it mate, its a VS Exec, its not worth much at all. If you feel like it, get a new VS and chuck any of your running gear in that.

Take the L/guard, bonnet and f/bumper off to get more of an idea. Then post pics.
I also suggest you take a lot more care when turning a corner or driving a car in future. Next time you may not be so lucky.

Guessing no insurance? Thats your first mistake.
But going by them photos its pretty hard to tell how much damage is done. And as said above. Cost wise, it would be better off getting a new one

Pull a few bits of it and scrap it there a $500 dollar car.. Dad and i throw ford v8s and tonnes of v6s away we just scraped a wh caprice with a mint v6 138xxxks the engine was a1 $400 from the scrapies and we kept a few bits of it

looks like: bar, guard, bonnet, rad support and inner to me. not too bad. not really sure if its worth fixing though. personally i wouldnt bother, but if the car has some sort of significance for you then the job isnt too hard. just need welding/grinding skills to unpick the inner and rad support.

more pics of actual damage would be useful, rather than pics of undamaged portions of the car.

nah it was slippery and there was traffic and i had to take of quickly and yeh...
