Hi :)

I had both front wheel bearings replaced to correct a growl. This was successful.

Recently the growl has come back when driving straight or turning right, but goes away turning left. Not as loud as before but still noticeable.

Or perhaps it's a rear wheel bearing this time - would it exhibit the same behaviour?

Are the VS wheel bearings different from VN? I do mud runs and drive through thick bulldust regularly without any issues from mine. When I do a deep water crossing I do a long drive before parking too.

Possibly a low quality replacement part, most have a 20,000km warranty.

Try a different brand, they dont normally give trouble.

Good suggestion. Also, the little grease that comes in bearings (or anything for that matter) if any is abysmal. I pack as much grease in as possible.

VS are different, they come as a complete sealed hub with no serviceable parts unfortunately.

Haha that's gold! Typical though. At least they weren't cross threading the grease guns which I've seen as well lol
