Below 2k I couldn't really tell any difference, 2-4k feels like it has more punch but could be a bit of a placebo effect as it sounds good now. When you wind it out you can tell it definitely has more go now then before, even without a tune yet
When you say “wind it out” do you mean driving at full throttle or normal daily driving?
Or is “wind it out” a term that is used meaning removing restrictions?

Yeah full throttle. Light throttle there is no difference I've noticed at all.

What do you guys think of ceramic coated headers?
Are they really necessary for daily driving? Do they make that much of a difference in bringing under bonnet temperature down?

Ceramic coating has it's advantages. It retains heat within the headers and allows the gas to flow with less restriction. It also reduces under bonnet temps.

As for advantages on a daily? An expensive way to make the headers look pretty.

Do you find that 200 cell cats make it smell fumey?

Depends on what else is done. Cam and tune, yes. If it's stock then not so much. 200 cell cats on a VF will not be Euro 4 compliant either.

What he means is they are illegal for all intents and purposes.

id assume the majority of members on here would have something on their car thats considered illegal
whether it be too dark tint, led hedlights, a loud exhaust, or lowered to the wazoo.

Hey guys! Just after some advice. My mechanic wants a final decision.
Full Di Filippo exhaust branded as Manta, or Full harrop exhaust?
Specs will be 1 3/4 headers, 200 cell cats and 2.5” cat back with bimodals.
I want a deep sounding system thats not too loud whilst improving the bottom end a bit with a bit more responsiveness.
What you guys think?
