Hey guys! Just after some advice. My mechanic wants a final decision.
Full Di Filippo exhaust branded as Manta, or Full harrop exhaust?
Specs will be 1 3/4 headers, 200 cell cats and 2.5” cat back with bimodals.
I want a deep sounding system thats not too loud whilst improving the bottom end a bit with a bit more responsiveness.
What you guys think?

I'd go for the cheaper option.

Not sure about the harrop system but all the di fillipo systems I’ve heard have that nice deep v8 tone your after better than any others out there , I’d buy one myself if I could afford it lol

Probably bugger all in performance, but I know that the DiFillipo sounds good and have had people in the past say they weren't happy with the Harrop. Never heard one myself, no one sells them over here. The Manta one would be the pick of the bunch but I know you can't get one over there.

Are you keeping the stock bimodal mufflers or going aftermarket?

if you want the old school deep V8 sound like the old 70s cars go difilippo, if you just cruising at light throttle, going up through the gears in a manual or auto it's the same old loud v8 burble , no raspy barky tone like other systems,
difilippo now manta are the most popular for a reason,

When you give it some stick the LS engines never sound like the old school 308/304's or the old Cleveland's and SBC for that matter.

The different firing order of the LS engines from the 308 changes the sound significantly in my pinion.
