Mate I'm definately no expert on superchargers or turbos but I'm going to venture a guess as to why its not giving that much extra go.

The ECU has no idea as to how to act with all that extra air. The fact that it is running at all, is because the ECU is trying to compensate and chucking extra fuel in to match. But still it won't be perfect.

There are many variables with the ECU, and timing and fuel delivery are some critical areas that need to be addressed when shoving extra air down your engines neck.

I'm willing to bet that as soon as you get it tuned, it will feel 100% better.

To be honest I wouldn't even be running it without the tune, except to get it to the tuner, and only if its running semi-decently, with no hint of pinging.

If I'm wrong than someone with more knowledge should feel free to correct me.

2psi wont hurt anything may just spit error codes for map sensor anything more needs a 2bar map sensor and injectors plus a tune.yes you can just fit a rising rate reg with say a 2:1 ratio and feed in more boost but its dodgy to say the least and will only keep it alive for so long with stock spark advance and cost you power in the end from being rich

Why do people persist with these superchargers? Not trolling just genuinely curious. They are a cheap nasty thing. If your only going to putting in 2 psi what is the point?

you can get them upto 12-14psi but generally they start desintergrating and just get too hot.iblown went fast with one but he said you could cook eggs on the inlet manifold like it was a BBQ LOL.the best place for them is the bin and fit a turbo in its place and go way better at lower boost levels
