When I start my car it makes this noise.
I recorded it and youtubed it to send to holden before I book it in. ----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjHX5tvdeyg
They said it's the cam shaft actuator. I'm dropping it off next week for a warranty repair.
I just want to know how 'bad' it is and any background info. i.e. do the timing chains need to be replaced at the same time? or do they put the same ones back on when it's repaired? Is it a big job for them to fix it?
Any info would be good.
I've got 2012 VE Series II - 78,000 kms
thanks
