Is E10 cheaper than 91? Why most of people think 91 is better than E10.
A range of reasons I think, e10 definitely cheaper and e10 definitely better in a VE or VF.

I run E10 (94ron) no prob. Was a firm disbeliever in it but after some reading, its fine and rather use this. In fact car loves it.

Also check out which below is very surprising

E10 Very similar to 95ron in performance but does use up a fraction more.
For all round performance to economy, 95ron is like the sweet spot.
98ron for tuned but tuners can also do a 95ron tune.

91ron, which can contain up to 10% ethanol anyway is not my fav at all.
Had issues with misfire under load using 91ron and went with 95ron and E10 and now no issues at all so i avoid 91 when I can.

From memory the comparison between fuel usage between fuels is below
E10 to 91ron - 2-3%
91ron to 95ron - 2%
95ron to 98ron - 2%

The only issue is to simply regular maintenance.
Change fuel filter to make sure its clean.
Run a fuel system cleaner every now and then and make sure you use really good oil

Why do they advertise prices of 91ron, when no one is using it in cars. If you have a recent car, you see the price of 91ron, go into the petrol station and the fuel you probably put in is 98ron. The price has been anything from 15 cents to 20 cents more expensive than the advertised 91ron.

Does anyone set the price difference or is it the petrol station manager.
