Vz Storm ute
Hi guys, Not sure I’m in the correct place but I have a vz Storm ute and it has an oil leak which seems to be coming from behind the ecu unit. I’ve attached a pic, the wiring in this pic, can anyone tell me what this part is.? Where it goes into the engine it is leaking oil from below this part. Can anyone help with this problem please

Could be the rocker cover gasket.
Is it leaking from between the plastic rocker cover and the head?
It's usually easier to find the leak if you clean the area first and then check every few days.

Thanks for your reply. I cleaned the area and ran the car until I noticed oil and it seems to be coming from underneath what I’ve been told is the cam position sensor

My VZ Alloytec has a similar leak at the front, not sure where as yet,
I am guessing the same it’s a cam sensor seal.
As I am still waiting on my chain kit (after 2 weeks) to be delivered.
I am not game to start pulling it down yet to see where it’s leaking, because once you start, there is no turning back.
But I will confirm/let the group know the area in question for future issues of the same.
