I enjoy watching it. Glad to have the 8 dedicated Foxtel channels because the channel 9 coverage is woeful.
Saw a bit of the swimming, weightlifting, cycling, and the judo. Pretty good.
and i noticed BMX was in there. How is it an Olympic sport? whats next, skateboarding? Parkour?

Live watching all the sports apart from the equestrian events. Lol can't wait for the athletics and the cycling to start.

The only thing that has remotely caught my interest is the chinese girl swimmer. I decided I would look up that race, just so I can see the spectacular finish. Do you think I can find one single video of the actual race anywhere on the net?

You have gotta be kidding me? BMX racing takes a great deal of skill and training to be able to get around a track in 23 - 26 seconds. They will be getting up to 60k's in 3 seconds, lets see your VX do that. Apart from that, if it requires a skill and a challenge against other people, then it is classified as a sport.

Channel 9's coverage is terrible. I'd like to see channel 9 continuing what it's doing (jumping around following the aussies), and then Gem focusing on team sports or whole events and follow them start to finish.

SO far been loving the Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Rowing, and looking forward to the track and field starting up. I haven't seen any Handball on 9 which is a shame, thats a top sport to watch. Also seen no archery. The BMX should be good with a few medal chances in there

Lets see your VR do that as well? Hit a nerve I guess.
On that justification, skateboarding or roller blading should be included too. Both require skill, training etc etc.
