Hey guys,

Looking to colour code paint my vt boot garnish, can't afford the whole vx and repaint and install and stuff.

Anyone know how much that'd cost to get professionally painted?
Also can someone show me some pics of there's if they have done it?

thanks very much

Hey, im looking at doing the same thing to mine... after i was driving behind a guy a few weeks back who had painted his vt garnish and it looked pretty good. Emailed a few places and seems to be around $70-90 to paint the vt garnish depending on color

I have seen it done a few times and it doesn't work - you get casting lines thru the paint. Save your pennies and buy a VX garnish too - looks way better.

Thats y u gotta prep the garnish properly coz if u dont as u say u can still see the reverse lights outline and where they have joined the back of the garnish 2 the front around the outer edges and also the word holden indented in the garnish. 2 get around this u gotta use knifing putty and bog and do some shaving also.
