I was in Repco yesterday getting 20L engine oil $177.75
The guy there said Penrite is going up 8%.
Didn`t say anything else

They all will unfortunately.

Like fuel the cost of crude oil has skyrocketed so oil production is going to be impacted the same as at the pumps.

I'm just surprised they've held out as long as they had before it went up.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 10L bottles of penrite end up at $200 by the end of the year.

How is the price of a fully synthetic product effected by the price of a mineral product ?

Doesn't it all come from crude and then refined more to make it synthetic?

I'm currently running Nulon 10w 40, which I'd say is about the same.
