Hi Paddy,

Not sure how others feel and experience auctions, but my experience was the worst with auctions and that too with pickles auctions. I have bought a holden viva from auctions. At the time of inspections When i turned on the engine no lights were shown on the dashboard. But as soon as i bought this vehicle and drove for 5 kms then transmission light turned on. I went to the holden showroom, they said transmission needs to be replaced and they quoted me 3000 dollars for a new one. Checked with other two mechanics they said the same thing.

Fowles auction is good. My boss bought a ex government owned 2005 VZ Berlina and its immaculate and its only got 30,000kms on the clock. Also my grand dad bought a BA XT Falcon, then when he sold that, he went back and got a BF Fairmont, both cars immaculate with low kms as well. Definitely worth having a look.
