Ok, I've had enough of this car. In the few years that I've owned it, I've spent more on repairs that I did to buy it!
Anyway, we went for a drive today, got out of the car, but couldn't lock it with the remote. I lock it manually. Go back to the car, can't unlock it. Unlock it manually. Can't start car. Immobiliser light still flashing. Leave it on reds for 2 hours, start car & drive it home. Until then, I had no issues with the key, and no sign of the key battery going flat.
I replaced the BCM with a second hand one in April this year because of the same problem, and the car was fine.
Is there anything I can do, other than replacing the BCM again, to get this car going? Can the immobiliser be removed? If I can't fix it myself, the car is gone
