helpful info jonah 101 thanks , had a look at the engine bay 20 minutes ago and it seems so small...like barely any room for the poddy, its like 5 inches wide (its big)
gotta get some pipe cause mine is just to short

The stock pipe can streach a bit.

i knew someone would say it :)

and as for the stock pipe it wont stretch without cracking , its pretty worn

Try a Hydralics place, they have pretty big rubber tubing. Or a piece of PVC pipe, alluminium etc and go from the end of the boot on the MAF to the pod.

Update, Really noticed a big difference now, heaps better pick up. I was accelerating on a straight peice on road and hit a patch of tar and aw Novus she spun one wheel up at 50kmph lol

nice... my vr v6 power skids through second lol :) but only with 14s on there ahahahah.. was it worth the effort and time to make it??? or would you just prefer normal CAI (on radiator)

I like this better because the "shield" projects the sound making it louder, Its louder than the exhaust.

will pvc piping stand the heat ? thinking of putting some type of heat sheild over the ex manifold too

Yeh because cold air running through it would keep it cool, and i think PVC is quite tollerant against heat besides the original plumbing isnt anything flash, I may be wrong but it looks just like basic ABS plastic. but yes a heat sheild would be good or maybe exhaust wrap.

The ones Mace sell are good. You will hear a lot more blower whine though.
