agreed, there's certainly more than one reason to have a decent battery.
hell I bought an Optima just because it is a far superior battery, not cos i needed more CCA

holden_4aw_lyfe looks to have a fairly nice system too.

Trent1291 if your system is so good then, why dont you post it up? or is it fully sik boss audio with 1000 speakers running off the head unit

No problem, ive messed around with sub boxes on the back seat before and found it to be quieter than in the boot loading off the tailgate / tailights. But youre right, testing is the only way to know what works in what vehicle.

I reckon they'll last a while, ive put similar power into lesser-quality 6x9s and they lasted ages, wasnt till we started running them IB that they fried ;)

Im sure you'll register, it'll have to be in the 130s atleast...anything under that and i'll be dissapointed haha.

well ran it today, 132.5 @ 73hz
I know the frequency is high but tried all different port lengths and for some reason with the port tuned to 48Hz it was peaking in the car at 73Hz

now to see if i can get a few extra db out for the comp next sunday

Thats pretty good, bet they loved the power ;)

Yeah peaking that high is a real problem......meanwhile i have issues of my own, borrowed a TL for a week to do some testing and have lost 0.8db, really starting to get over this SPL stuff, lol.

We'll see what tomorrows testing shows ;)
