The Phantom is a wonderful case to build with. Fan controller/Hub on the back of the motherboard. SSD tray on the back of the motherboard. Tons of room. Heaps of cabling space. Looks amazing. Instantly regretting going Windows 8. But Ill give it time.

After waiting for the R290X and seeing how it runs and acts as a heater, then umming and ahhing over waiting for aftermarket cards, I finally decided on a video card.

So as I mentioned earlier, the case, is fantastic. tons of room, tons of cable management stuff.

This video card, OMFG. For a reference card. This is pretty. The GEFORCE GTX logo down the side is customizable in the way it flashes or lights up.

Yeah the 290X is a massive let down IMO, might shine under water but they should have done better with the stock cooler. Loud or hot. Pick one, max! Not both

If the green logo bugs you I did a write up on changing it over on oc.n a while ago it's quite straightforward to change it to white at least.
