exactly, at least then, if you have a problem with it down the track, no more drilling out rivits n ****, just unbolt, fix and bolt up

The rivets arent just any ordinary rivets either, you would have a hard time finding the tool to punch them in. Im another for nut and bolt. Cant remember exactly what size, just went the largest that would fit in the existing hole nicely. That was a while ago and shes still working as good as new.

sorry to dig up but has anyone mastered this on the vs do the nuts go inside or where the rivet heads are and how do I get the white plastic runner back on the little ball thing on the reg arm it just wont go on please help kinda sucks not being able to use my drivers window

When I did mine I just used a hammer..
The rivets arnt that huge...

I'm doing this again today to replace the regulator.

There is a thread in the holes for the rivets strangely enough!

Just bought 4 m6 20mm high tensile bolts and 8 washers, it worked fine last time and it'll work fine this time!

It's pretty easy once in there

so just take the reg out and hammer the runner back on the ball?, thanx kingy il put that on my "supercheap list" .

My bad, no threads in there, but a high tensile bolt will make it's own thread through alluminium!

Thread the bolts thru the inside on the door so the bolt head is facing outward and nuts go on the trim side, this way there is no chance of the thread catching on the window mech.

The white runner Can be pit back on gently, no hammering required, front window channel, at the bottom there is a 10mm bolt, remove that and U can move the channel back enough the feed the white runner back in.
