Just wondering, its late and I wont have time to ring them up again tomorrow, but does anybody know how much its going to cost me to have my two new key heads programmed to my car? The guy at Holden on Friday told me over the phone $40 to $60, but I'm not sure if this is just for one key head. Want to get them done soon, as one has the key ring part snapped off, the other both buttons are gone, and both have the batteries going in them.

Nothing :'(
for vt - new key head is about 60, to program about 25 or so

im guessing for a vs having 2 buttons it might be a little less

id say around the 70 -80 mark for the new head and reprograming

Yeah, Holden quoted $100 for a new head and programming, except I already have the new heads, so I just need them programmed.

Why don't you just swap the guts out of the old one into the new casing?

Mine was $35 for the head (single button), and $40 to programme it. My head was stuffed completely, and I did Not_An_Abba_Fan's suggestion above with no success.

If it was stuffed completely then it probably wouldn't work, but if its just the buttons and the plastic case that are broken then it should work.

Yeah I would except the batteries are pretty much gone as well.
