- 1990 3.8 VN Wagon
G'day guys,
just picked up a cheap VN off a deceased estate for $750 which runs great!
Going to be a project car.
Here is a pic of my old VN, which I cut the springs in - (took off 3.5 coils):
Illegal, dangerous and too low.
So for this new one, I've gotten a deal my old mans friend who's a mechanic who will do me a deal for $286 for Monroe GT Lowered Rear Shocks + My Choice of Super Low OR Ultra Low Rear King Springs for the same price whichever I choose.
I want the car to be low, but not ridiculous like my previous car.
So If I were to get Ultra Lows, would be car be so low that it's illegal?
I had super lows in my OLD VN before I cut the stock springs as it still looked very stock with the Super Low King Springs hence why I was stupid and got my stock springs and took the angle grinder to them.
So Ultra lows, will it be legal height? etc etc =)
