vf v6 storm ute
I recently purchased a VF Storm V6 ute. I want to put a V8 in because i just want one.
The only reason i bought the V6 was because the missus paid for it. She thinks i will kill myself in a V8. Not gunna happen.
Does anyone know how much it would cost and is it feasible to do this.

$$$$$$ jingle all the way.

Sell it and buy a V8, only way to go.

Oh, and why are you so sure you can't die in a V8?

Peter Brock wasn't even driving a V8... Remember?

Just trade it on a V8. See if they'll throw in a set of balls for free.

haha, can hear the whip crack from here!
It would be cheaper to sell your v6 and upgrade to v8 than it would be to change engines and everything that comes with it.
And Im pretty sure it would also be bye bye new car warranty!

The engine alone would be more than $10K at a guess and that's before we include labour and tuning. I was quoted $3k for labour on a VX conversion, and that is a much simpler car that mechanic's are much more familiar with. If you wanted a V8 you should've waited and got one. now you are stuck with a V6.
